Treatment of poor posture or growing pains in children and adolescents

STRENGTHEN THE FOOT MUSCLES — IMPROVE POSTURE — PREVENT PAIN

The primary goal of therapy with PROPRIO® foot orthoses is to promote children’s activity and their motor development. Certain developments during growth phases are normal, e.g. a slight internal rotation of the feet. If, however, you notice that your child frequently trips, tends to "slap" the ground with a steppage gait or has abnormal heel-to-toe movement, you should seek assistance from a PROPRIO expert. Growing children often complain about heel pain during growth, shin pain or knee pain. Sensorimotor foot orthoses specifically counteract the causes of these types of pain, e.g. planotransversus foot (pes planotransversus), flat foot (pes planus) or sickle foot (pes adductus). They strengthen the muscles in your child’s feet.
