Restless-Legs-Syndrom

(RLS) RLS is a neurological disorder characterized by tingling, heat and pain sensations in the legs, accompanied by a strong urge to move. RLS exclusively manifests during periods of rest or inactivity. The symptoms are partially or completely eliminated by movement, primarily by walking and running — at least, as long as the activity is continued. Since the pathogenesis of this condition is not clear, the affected persons usually have a long history of suffering. A number of patients with this affliction have reported positive experiences following treatment with PROPRIO® foot orthoses, which are aimed at reducing muscle tension in the calf and thus contribute to alleviation of the symptoms. A therapeutic approach free of side effects.
